Incredible Kitkat Custom Rom For Tecno M3

Hi Emmanuel,

Am really proud to be a M3 user. Taking a look at the features of the Kitkat custom ROM, made me to like it.

I think I came in the right time to meet a post about my device model.

I will download the cmw and follow the procedures above.

I thought m3 cannot be upgraded. Anyway, now i know. My gf uses the m3 nd i will help her upgrade it right away. Thanks bro

Tanks emmy for the rom…inatallation was successful ….both my network wont come up…if i try going through settings>mobile>it will force stop….unfoetunately mobile networks has stop working….what could be the fault…..

i hope am not gonna get dissapointed by this rom sha???

Goodday Emmy… will like to start by commending on Ur effort in putting together all this roms…truly it comes with great features but with flaws that needs to b fixed to make them truly incredible…will start with the (SIUI) Rom it shows connected but no internet activity allowed and the camera has no option for the front camera for video calls and this current rom I also finished testing Today which appears to b lacking camera app completely and the resolution is terribly big and still have connections problem pls it should b looked into.. Thank u

This ROM is perfect but it has disabled front camera. Device no longer show button to switch to front camera no matter the camera app you are using but the back camera is working perfectly well. I think this is a real bug. Please any help on this

The same problem i encountered too in the SIUI ROM it's nice, smooth and fast but this problem of lacking button to switch to front camera i.e you wont be able to use front camera is a big problem for me. am currently using the ROM (SIUI) due to its speed but not satisfied with the problem mentioned above. when i can no longer endure i will have to try another ROM or go back to stock.
But in all, you really did a great here job, more grease to your elbow. I think you deserve to be appreciated to keep your spirit high but holding it temporary back until you do something about the front camera issue.

After my complain about the SIUI ROM, i deceided to help the porter of the ROM to relief him some stress.

The ROM is Awesome but it has one big bug which is missing the button to switch to front camera i.e you wont be able to use your front camera no matter the camera app you are using as far as this ROM is concern even if you see button to switch to front camera depending on camera app when you click on the button front camera still wont activate

BUT HURRAY!!!!!!! I HAVE GOT A GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!!!
Yesterday night as i was sleeping, I heard a voice telling me what to do to make the ROM perfect in other to get both the front camera working 101%. (Works on tecno M3 (old with 4.2 android version) rom stock or custom having camera problem for both front and back cam.)

I managed to extract 15 in number camera .so (shared object) files from a particular ROM, after flashing this SIUI ROM as usual the front camera was not working. using ES file explorer being granted root access i copied those 15 .so files to device/system/lib, lo and behold some of those .so files were not existing in the device i was able to add them by pasting those files adding new once and over writing existing once with the news once i copies. after that i restarted my phone. just to discover that me front camera has began to function and button to switch to front cam appeared and functional tested it with other camera apps that weren't working before and they were working well.

In case any one encounters such issue just feel free to drop your E-mail i will send it ur mail its 4mb you will extract it as it comes as zip then copy it to the folder i did to get your ROM rocking !!! if you try it and it works out for you and you feel like appreciating you can rogger the guy some airtime to [email protected] or send it to 08147047088 if you wish no one is making it compulsory its just for those that want to keep the ministry moving
