However, volume control may seem a bit counter-intuitive at first. In this article, we will tell you how to change the AirPods Pro volume using swipes, as well as some useful tips on how to do it better.

How to change AirPods Pro 2 volume with a swipe gesture

Please note that volume control is only available on AirPods Pro 2.

  1. Play music through AirPods Pro 2
  2. Swipe volume control enabled by default
  3. Use your index finger to swipe up or down on the force sensor on your AirPods Pro
  4. You need to drive your finger along the inside of the headphone leg, where the pressure sensor is located (an oval cutout in the shape of a capsule)
    • Tip: Move your index finger so that it touches the edge of the ear closest to the face and stem of the AirPods Pro
    • For convenience, try holding the earpiece with your thumb.
  5. You will hear a small sound effect confirming that you are changing the volume
