HOW TO INSTALL CM12.1 v3 Custom Rom On Infinix Hot Note x551
Your device must be rooted and have custom recovery mode installed. Go here and Twrp Recovery For Infinix Hot Note X551.
- This should be installed on Infinix Hot Note Running On Android 4.4.2 not 5.1
- Do not attempt to install this rom using other Recovery mode apart from Philz touch recovery
- This rom is for Infinix Hot Note x551 16gb + 1gb.
- Make nandroid backup of your stock rom in case you choose to go back to it in future
- Backup your IMEI using mobile umcle tools apk app
- Download CM12.1 v3 Custom Rom for Infinix Hot Note and move to the root of your SD Card
- Turn_Off your phone completely and boot to recovery mode by press holding at the same time Volume Up + Power Button for 5sec.
- Now in recovery mode, make all the necessary wipe and format
- Wait for some minutes for wiping process to complete
- Now, click on “Install Zip From Sd Card”
- Locate your downloaded CyanogenMod12.1 v3 for Infinix hot note and click on it
- Click on “YES” for installation process to begin
- Now, after installation is done, simply click on reboot to reboot your device.
That’s it, your Infinix Hot Note should be up and running bugles and stable CyanogenMod 12.1 v3 custom rom.
After Flashing the Rom do not flash Gapps, SuperSU and Dolby at all
After your device has booted go to Settings > About Phone and tap of build number multiple times
After developer options have been enabled turn ON Advanced Reboot
Now go to recovery mode
Flash Gapps, SuperSu and Dolby now

i installed the rom and it worked, but after using wifi for sometime, the phone completely refused to connect via mobile network unless only one sim is present. I don’t know how to deal with this.
