How to install TrollStore on iOS 14.0-15.1.1 to install apps forever bypassing the AppStore
TrollStore

Thanks to bugs in the iOS and iPadOS operating systems, iOS developer opa334 on Friday released a new utility to install any IPA apps bypassing the App Store with a permanent signature. The new utility is called  TrollStore.

With the help of TrollStore, users can install any applications, including those removed from the AppStore, and use them indefinitely, without the need to sign every 7 days, as was the case when installing through AltStore, SideLoadly, or other similar applications. This was made possible thanks to an exploit in iOS that forces the system to trust third-party IPA files and not sign them every 7 days.

TrollStore currently supports iOS 14.0 – 15.1.1. Devices based on the A9 chip are not supported as they are not compatible with the multicast_bytecopy exploit.

You can install TrollStore on iOS 14 through any tweak manager on a jailbroken device, such as Cydia, Sileo, and Zebra. On iOS 15, you can install TrollStore using third-party install apps like AltStore, Sideloadly, etc.

How to use the Backtrack feature on Apple Watch

Installation on iOS 15.0-15.1.1 without jailbreak

A9 processor devices are not supported.

  1. Download the TrollStore installer IPA file from https://github.com/opa334/TrollStore/releases.
  2. Install it on your device in your preferred way (AltStore / iOS App Signer / Sideloady / Whatever).
  3. Open the application and click the Install button.
  4. Wait.
  5. If your phone reboots here, go back to 3.
  6. Upon successful installation of TrollStore, a message will appear, click close, then the application will close.
  7. The TrollStore application should appear on the main screen, launch it. If it doesn’t, restart your device.
  8. Go to the settings tab, and click “Install ldid” to allow TrollStore to install unsigned applications.
  9. (Optional) Click “Install Persistence Helper” and select a system application that you do not need to use (for example, Tips) in the list that appears, you can read more about Persistence Helper.

For devices on iOS 14.0-14.8.1 with jailbreak

  1. Download TrollHelper in .deb format from https://github.com/opa334/TrollStore/releases (TrollHelper should be in the Havoc repository soon).
  2. Install it via Filza, Sileo, or Zebra.
  3. If the TrollHelper icon appears on the main screen, launch it, if not, launch uicache, after which it should appear.
  4. Click the “Install TrollStore” button.
  5. After about a second, a respring will occur and TrollStore should appear on the main screen, launch it.
  6. Go to the settings tab, and click “Install ldid” to allow TrollStore to install unsigned applications.
  7. In iOS 14 you don’t need to install Persistence Helper in the system app, TrollHelper is the Persistence Helper, it will persist across icon cache reloads and will work even if the device is not jailbroken.

How to use TrollStore

The developer tried to make TrollStore as easy to use as possible, the process consists of two steps:

1) Download the required IPA file.

2) Open the downloaded IPA file via TrollStore on your iPhone or iPad.

Please note that the .ipa file must be downloaded locally on the iPhone, so files uploaded to iCloud Drive will not work.

The developer promises to release updates regularly, the update mechanism will be as simple as possible using the built-in OTA TrollStore update mechanism. In addition, the utility should support and work with most (if not all) .ipa files.

Also recently came out a command to quickly update TrollStore.

To view the source when the project can go to the official page of the project on GitHub. If you’re having trouble installing or using TrollStore, you can ask your question in a separate post on Reddit /r/jailbreak.
