Microsoft will have an event in New York as of October 2nd. This event will focus on hardware presentation, in this case the new Surface series notebooks. The hosts will be CEO Satya Nadella and Surface department head Panos Panay.
Surface Pro 7
This year we can look forward to the seventh edition of the pro line of Microsoft notebooks. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is expected to add USB-C inputs, unlike last year’s Pro 6. Some patents also suggest a new keyboard cover and a new stylus.
At the component level, Surface Pro 7 is expected to feature Intel’s 10th-generation processors. A Surface with Qualcomm processor and ARM architecture is expected. A Surface with Snapdragon processor is certainly an interesting prospect.
Surface Laptop 3
The third version of Surface Laptop will have a screen in 15 inches. According to WinFuture, this may be Microsoft’s first notebook with an AMD and non-Intel processor, which may result in a lower than normal product price.
Additionally, the Surface Laptop 3 will remove the typical Alcantara fabric from the Surface. This is because Microsoft will likely include removable storage. Removing the fabric makes it easy to remove and offers a different design for those who don’t like the Alcantara style.
Windows Lite, Double Screen and Surface Speaker
Microsoft also wants to talk about the future of your operating system. This could be related to a device named ‘Centaurus’, a dual screen Surface computer. This device could be the guinea pig of the so-called Windows Lite, a lighter version of Windows based on C-Shell and Windows Core OS.
Finally, Microsoft should introduce Surface Speaker, a meeting solution companies. It is essentially a column with surrounding fabric and volume buttons, with the ability to make calls.
