Tecno H6 Latest Firmware/ Version 5g [Stock Rom ]
To all Tecno H6 users, this post was specifically made for you guys. I assume we all know that Tecno H6 is of two version or type, the OLD VERSION/ FIRMWARE: Build Number: H6-G325-20140923 has 2gb allocated free space for use and also the NEW VERSION/ FIRMWARE: Build Number: H6-G325-20150122S which comes with 5gb free space for use. Well, To get this new version Rom on your phone you will have to flash the new update Note: Your data will not be lost however, we would advise you to take a backup before proceeding to the following steps
ANY BUG?
- Not at all, everything’s working perfectly.
IS IT A CUSTOM ROM?
- NO, it’s Tecno H6 official latest stock firmware/ version.
WHAT’S IS THE NEW FIRMWARE/ VERSION?
STEPS.
- Download Tecno H6 Stock Rom Download Android Driver and SP Flash Tool For flashing the Update
- Do This First Before Flashing Rom ( Install Preloader Usb Vcom Drivers On Your Pc)
- Unzip the downloaded files. You can use software’s like WinRAR or 7Zip to do that if required.
- Open “Android Driver” and double click on
- If your phone is connected to the PC via USB, remove it before proceeding to the next step
- Open folder named “Flash Tool” and double click on “Flash_tool ” application file.
- Select “Scatter-loading ” option on the tool.
- Select file named “ MT6582_Android_scatter ” from the firmware folder
- Click on “Firmware-Upgrade ” option on the top as shown below & then select Download
- Connect your Tecno H6 with the USB cable provided by “ Tecno H6”, make sure your device is switched off before establishing a connection with more 50% battery backup.
- The upgrade process will be triggered and you would be able to see the following screen.
- The following screen will appear, on completion of the upgrade.
- CAUTION: DO NOT disconnect/ try to switch the device on while the upgrade is in progress.
- Disconnect your device and switch on your device again. Congratulations! You are now using the NEW VERSION/ FIRMWARE: Build Number: H6-G325-20150122S

Mr Emmanuel, I followed everything to the letter, but the splash tool does not move an inch, as if nothing is working. Any idea on what could be wrong?
I tried it on Windows 8 edition, could that have been the issue?
Also, how would I know, if the ADB drivers, is properly installed?

Good morning Mr Emma, I have come again. Thankfully, the driver is properly installed, but still, nothing seems to be happening.
I have tried everything possible, but it's not budging.
The sp flash tool, is not just moving to indicate anything is working. Sorry for my nagging, it's just annoying, having followed the whole details, yet it's not working.
If you try it on win 7 you will not have this problem let me check for sp flash and driver that work for win 8

Good morning. I want to ask, what's the difference between the two? I am asking because, I already have the ADB drivers installed, and it connects with my system, only that the sp flash tool, is not picking up my phone to upgrade my phone memory.

Sir when flashing my sp flash tool is asking for scatter file.tom
Follow the steps and try to download the zip again and extract it in a simple destination ie. Desktop then follow carefully from step 3 I think its gonna help
Pls, I need the IMEI/NVRAM backup of H6, using Mtk Droid tools.
My sims are not coming up, because of no Baseband and no IMEI showing. But, hopefully, with the backup, I will be able to fix it.

Comment: hi admin my techno H6 was working perfectly but after sometime , both cameras stop working up to today and for now it can not allow outgoing calls anymore.
